Ripstop is a military innovation, often used in uniforms and parachutes its woven using a special technique that creates a fine crosshatch pattern, making it both lightweight and incredibly resistant to tearing. Theyre printed with a unique, tie-dye oil emulsion technique that (unsurprisingly) resembles oil on water, or a heat map. Theyre comfortable, too, with a roomy 9 inseam, elastic drawstring waist and easy fit. One extra-special design detail: the hidden patch pockets, beneath the cargo pockets.
